Buster Posey to hang up the spikes

Buster Posey had a great run, and now starts everyone’s debate on whether or not he makes the hall of fame, and if so, how easily. Some will argue he is a first ballot hall of famer, while others will argue he doesn’t have the numbers to even make the hall at all. Only time will tell. We wish Posey a wonderful retirement, we enjoyed watching him play and bring the Giants some championships.

For the Giants, this is a setback for them for next season, although it does free up salary and open the door for Joey Bart.
