The Seattle Mariners have signed Robbie Ray, snagging him away from their division-rival Angels. They inked Robbie Ray at 5 years, $115M as first reported by my high school pitching coach Michael Mayer. This is a great signing for Ray who has had an average career with one spectacular season, this past season. He cashes in big and the Mariners add a piece to try and make a run for the postseason again this season. The Angels and the Blue Jays both are obvious losers as they miss out on Robbie Ray, the guy I had been hoping the Red Sox would make a run at.
