Javier Baez has agreed to terms with the Tigers on a 7 year, $140M contract with an opt-out somewhere within the contract. The Tigers were expected to be the front-runners for Carlos Correa, but instead sign Baez at what will likely be a much cheaper contract for similar production. 3 out of the big 5 have now signed, leaving Correa and Trevor Story still on the board.
